Bordo Bello: Raygun, is that you?

I have been struggling with this project! I JUST finished watching Objectified, which had me stoked about pretty things, and I really liked the idea of doing something in the style of Roy Lichenstein, so I finally made it happen.

Well the lightening bolt and cloud from the previous post were in his style, it just wasn't telling enough of a story for me. So I looked up toy gun... and ray guns or laser guns came up. David Carson (a professor and graphic designer/antagonist - you either love him or hate him, I don't really feel either...) will be at the Bordo Bello event (maybe) with his class from Wyoming. So I kind of think its only fitting to do a tiny play off of the ray gun theme, as that was the magazine which he designed for back in the day, the magazine that in turn made him somewhat notable.

Too much? Too soon? Some how I think Sue LaPorte would either see the humor in my designs or slap me in the face. Either way - so far its my simplist, most effective designs yet. Whether its funny or not.
